Lofoten is situated at a latitude of 68 Degrees North, meaning short days and long nights in winter, this also means the potential for amazing light all throughout the day (The Sun only rises a couple of degrees above the horizon).

The long nights also mean more time to potentially capture the Northern Lights! Our main focus throughout this tour will be to chase the light and rather than having a fixed itinerary, we will use the weather to our advantage to try to get the best conditions for sunrise, sunset, and the Northern Lights!

We will visit all the classic locations in Lofoten, but also some hidden gems.

About Lofoten:
The Lofoten Islands are a group of Islands in the North of Norway (The area is known as 'Nordland'), with small fishing villages nestled amongst deep fjords, tall mountains, and the rough Norwegian Sea. The closest airport to the locations we visit is Leknes Airport. There is a short 20-minute flight from Bodo Airport to Leknes Airport. There are several connection options from Bodo Airport.

Why come to Lofoten with me?
